In My Mind
I walked today where Jesus walked Down a very stormy path. He walked with me and held my hand And took away my wrath.
I walked today where Jesus walked And told Him all my fears. He said “ Never mind my child” His nail scarred hand wiped my tears.
I walked today where Jesus walked And thought about my past. I wished that I could change some things Through prayer-found peace at last.
I walked today where Jesus walked And shared with Him my dreams. He held them, and He shaped them They are clear now – it seems.
I walked today where Jesus walked Sweet music filled the air. Troubles melted like lemon drops Just because –He- was there.
